CAVENDISH FLETCHER COMMUNITY LIBRARY EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETING

Mission Statement: The Cavendish Fletcher Community Library promotes the exchange of ideas, stimulates thought and supports lifelong learning in the school and community by providing relevant, current materials, programs and services for all ages.

Peggy read the Mission statement 

Additions/Changes to the Agenda - no changes/additions to the agenda 

The Approval of minutes of the June 5, 2025, meeting. Claire made a motion to accept the minutes. Unanimous acceptance. 

Treasurer’s Report - See attachment 

A conversation was hard regarding a few payments and the work done with Id3. The report is ready for the auditor. 

Gladys made a motion to accept the report and it was unanimously accepted. 

Amy passed out warrants to be signed.

Librarian’s Report by Amy

1. End of School Year - Peggy - the yearbook is gorgeous! Provided an opportunity to review the publication.

2. BEST Conference - held the week right after school, for MTSS, around 400 educators and administrators attend. The CTES team is working on how to create a trauma supported school. Information was pertinent and useful. Ann, Stacie, and Amy will be presenting at one of the first in-services. This year, actively participated in the activities, with encouragement from Westminster. 

3. Summer Reading - has started, different stations for coloring, painting, chalk. A story-teller coming in August, Simon Brooks. 

4. Circulation Statistics - 

A conversation was had regarding reading buddies and encouragement for next year to not use books in the classroom, but to use books from the library.
