Moving to Phase Three
To my Dear Patrons,
School has restarted and the library is expanding our open hours to Tuesday-Thursday from 9:00-6:30 and Saturday from 10:00-4:00. We are hoping that you all take advantage of our extended hours.
As we allow more patrons in the library for longer periods of time, there are things we have to take into account.
First and foremost is patrons safety. In order to enter the library, patrons must sanitize their hands and wear a mask and practice social distancing. We will be performing touchless temperature checks and asking those who are unwell or who are unable to wear a mask to take advantage of our curbside delivery to your vehicle.
Thanks to the hard work of our community in slowing the spread of COVID-19, we are able to allow more patrons-up to 10- in the library at one time and for longer periods- up to 30 minutes.
We are also reopening our computers for patron access.
Touch points in the library must be sanitized along with all circulating materials. We follow current CDC guidelines for handling library materials.
Thank you for your support. We look forward to seeing you in the library.
Director, Cavendish Fletcher Community Library
Extended Digital Offerings Continue
As school reopens, we are changing our digital offerings. We have put the password back on our wi-fi so that it is not accessed by students under the age of 18. We continue to offer free downloads of movies, television shows and books via Hoopla and Libby. Please contact the library for more information.
Service Dogs Welcome
Dear Patrons, For insurance reasons only service animals will be allowed in the library. Sadly, that includes Ted, who will return to the library once he has passed his therapy dog test.
